This card was so easy, I made it in about 10 minutes. I used a shaped card base from The Everyday Celebration special kit. Make a score line 4" and 7" from the straight edge. Fold the curved edge back against the front, and fold in half at the 4" line. I inked the curved edge with Honey ink, and random stamped all over the flap in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation. I made this set for my boss who had bi-lateral knee replacement surgery. All of the cards were made from left over scraps! The leaves for the flowers were so easy. This card base is from the card kit, From the Heart. I simply added the 3 Cocoa squares and the flower from Simple Beauty. The glitter isn't showing up, the darker blue areas on the blossom, and shaded green areas on the stem and leaves have matching colored glitter. My favorite way to adhere is with the write 'n rub glue pen.

Another MZ workshop card. Like the first one that we did at the workshop, we double stamped the tree, offset to give it shading and dimension. I have always loved this card...it was made from a winter stamp set called Snow Is Glistening. This card was inspired by a wood stamp from Hero Arts called Two Flourish Flowers. I used the Write 'n Rub glue pen with the glitter stack. I added a little subtle sponging around the flowers. The flourishes are from the Playful flourishes stamp set.

Here is "cupcake" #2. I wanted to make a strawberry, then as I was working on it I decided to make it a yummy chocolate dipped berry. Thanks for all of the great comments, it was a christmas ornament! Hurry to Wal-mart, they might still have some on clearance. I'm too cheap to buy the styrofoam balls. Since they were too expensive for me, I got a 6 pack of 4 1/2 inch ornaments for less than 3 stryofoam balls!itsabrt said...I am guessing an ornament. Ok, well, it is very hard to keep a desk clean enough to take pictures of it. I made these 12 cards from one sheet of rs cs. Everything is from CTMH but, all of the dp is retired. This features the Simple Stitches stamp set. I made these as a gift for a friend who loves quilting.

I like to use these great card kits from CTMH as a spring board. You can just make them as suggested, or cut them up and attach the pieces onto card bases. Here, I took one of each of the 4 styles and one sheet of stickease, and made 8 different cards. I only added a few accessories, and minimal extra cs/B&T. Anyway, here are the 8 cards I created.

I just love the colors of this set: Buttercup, Sweetleaf, Autumn Terracota, Barn Red, and Hollyhock. The cards are made from the CTMH Simply Snap Shots 9 x 9 Album Pages.
